Cookie policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
This page lists the cookies FindGuides uses. We keep them to the minimum: today there is exactly one, and it only exists to remember your own cookie choice.
The cookie we set
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| fg_consent | Stores your cookie preferences so the banner does not ask again on every visit. | Up to 180 days | Necessary (first party) |
Categories in the banner
The consent banner lists two categories. Strictly necessary covers the fg_consent cookie above and cannot be turned off, because without it we could not remember your choice. Analytics is listed for transparency and is switched off by default. No analytics tool is currently installed, so enabling the analytics category does not load anything at present. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in future, we will update this list and the banner before any such cookie is set.
What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, social media pixels, tag managers, or cross-site tracking of any kind. We do not sell data. There are no third-party trackers on this site, before or after you make a cookie choice.
Changing your choice
You can reopen the preferences at any time with the button below or the Cookie settings link in the footer. You can also delete the fg_consent cookie through your browser settings, which will make the banner appear again on your next visit.
